Wine to Food is run by BotTellMe, Fuglegårdsvej 20A, 2820 Gentofte, Denmark, company reg. no. 28003439. If you have questions about your information, write to us at mail@winetofood.com.
The text you type is sent to the language models that analyse the dish and find the wines: OpenAI and TypeSafe. If one of them does not respond, the text is sent to OpenRouter instead, which may pass it on to Google (Gemini). While you type, we send the text to TypeSafe so we can suggest what to add. We store the dish, the analysis and the wines we suggested, and we store the search so it can be shared by link. We also store which browser you used and which wine links you click. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not store your IP address when you search. Please do not type personal information in the search field.
Photos of menus and wine lists are sent to OpenAI, which reads them, and we keep them for the same purposes as searches. If you allow access to your location, it is only used to find restaurants nearby; it is not stored.
We store your email, name and phone number to give you access, and we record when you sign in, from which browser and from which IP address. Your organisation's administrators can see the sign-in history. After 6 months we shorten the IP address so it no longer points to a specific connection. Menus you upload or link to are sent to OpenAI, which reads the dishes. Restaurant addresses are looked up with Dataforsyningen and OpenStreetMap to place them on the map, and the map is loaded from OpenStreetMap. If you write to us through the contact form, we store your email and your message so we can reply.
We store what you enter in the sign-up form (name, email, country, role, experience, link and your text) and the consents you give, so we can contact you and, if you agreed to it, show your profile.
To provide the service, improve the engine and our recommendations, troubleshoot, run the service and produce usage statistics.
Supabase (database and storage, in the EU), Render (our server), Cloudflare (hosting the websites), OpenAI, TypeSafe, OpenRouter and Google (language models). Our hosting providers may record IP addresses in their technical logs for a short period. Some of the providers are based outside the EU, including the United States. The transfer is based on the providers' standard terms, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.
We keep the information as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Information that cannot be linked to a person may be kept without time limit. A Pro account is kept until it is closed, and after that only as long as required.
You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the information we hold about you, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
